How We Started

Originally founded in 2014, SOSIA was established to create community and fellowship amongst art students at California State University, Long Beach.

Today, SOSIA has become a safe space for all those interested in improving themselves as artists, students, and working professionals.

We are proudly based out of California State University, Long Beach. Go Beach!

Our Vision

SOSIA (Society of Student Illustrators & Animators) is a student-led collegiate organization that aims to foster professional growth for students seeking careers in the art industry. We want to unite illustrators and animators in their journey into the industry
